Dia is pleased to announce the upcoming events in its Readings in Contemporary Poetry series. This season, instead of pairing two poets for an evening, curator Vincent Katz has chosen a format that pays tribute to five exemplary poets. For each event, a small group of readers will pay homage to one of the featured poets, followed by a reading by that poet. The featured poets for this series are:

This season of Dia’s Readings in Contemporary Poetry series marks the culmination of a decade-long collaboration between Dia and Vincent Katz. Dia’s engagement with poetry will continue with a forthcoming series organized by Kamilah Foreman, Dia’s director of publications, beginning in fall 2021.
The Readings in Contemporary Poetry series ran from 1983 until 2003 under the direction of poet Brighde Mullins, and resumed in the fall of 2010. Recordings of past readings can be found in the Watch & Listen section of Dia’s website.
