We are pleased to invite you to join us for a special evening to celebrate the publication of Anne Carson’s newest book, Wrong Norma, published in a stunning edition with images created by the author. Carson writes: “Wrong Norma is a collection of writings about different things, like Joseph Conrad, Guantánamo, Flaubert, snow, poverty, Roget’s Thesaurus, my Dad, Saturday night. The pieces are not linked. That’s why I’ve called them ‘wrong.’”

This event features a reading of "Lecture on the History of Skywriting" by Anne Carson and her husband and long-time collaborator Robert Currie, followed by a performance with Carson and musician and composer Arto Lindsay.

Anne Carson was born in Canada and teaches ancient Greek for a living.

Robert Currie is an artist living in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Arto Lindsay was born in Richmond, Virginia, and raised in Brazil. He lived in New York for a while where he co-founded the bands DNA, the Lounge Lizards, the Golden Palominos and Ambitious Lovers. Since the mid-1990s he has been making records under his own name. Lindsay also makes parades.
