Jessica Vaughn is an artist who lives in Brooklyn, New York. Her work in sculpture, video, and photography interrogates questions of labor, race, and architecture. Vaugh’s artist book Depreciating Assets was published in 2021 by Printed Matter. She received a BHA from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, and an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Vaughn participated in the Whitney Independent Study Program and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. She is an associate professor of art at Temple University, Philadelphia, and a 2022 WRI Research Fellow at the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal. Vaughn’s work has been recently shown in the solo exhibition Our Primary Focus is to Be Successful (2021) at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia, and in group exhibitions including The Condition of Being Addressable (2022) at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. She has a forthcoming solo exhibition at the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf, in 2023. 

Stephen Kwok is curator of public engagement at Dia, where he was a facilitator at the Posenenske Sessions, a series of programs held in conjunction with displays of the artist’s work at Dia Beacon.

Alexis Lowry is curator at Dia, where she organized the 2019 retrospective Charlotte Posenenske: Work in Progress and the current display of the artist’s work.
