In conjunction with Leslie Hewitt at Dia Bridgehampton, scholar Tiffany Lethabo King will present research stemming from her influential book The Black Shoals: Offshore Formations of Black and Native Studies.  Tiffany Lethabo King is an educator and scholar. King is associate professor in the women, gender, and sexuality studies department at the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. She is the author of The Black Shoals: Offshore Formations of Black and Native Studies (Duke University Press, 2019) which won the Lora Romero First Book Prize of the American Studies Association. She also co-edited Otherwise Worlds: Against Settler Colonialism and Anti-Black Racism (Duke University Press, 2021). She lives in Charlottesville. Dia Chelsea TURE DD/MM/YYYY Tiffany Lethabo King
