Marina Rosenfeld is a composer and artist living in Brooklyn, New York. Operating across the disciplinary boundaries of music and visual art, her practice spans sound, music, performance, sculpture, and works on paper. Rosenfeld has created commissioned works for the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Park Avenue Armory, New York; Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin; Fundação de Serralves, Porto, Portugal; and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York. She has participated in group exhibitions including the Whitney, AURORA, Montreal, and Liverpool biennials. Her work has been featured in recent solo exhibitions at institutions including Kunsthaus Baselland, Muttenz, Switzerland; The Artist’s Institute, New York; Portikus, Frankfurt, Germany; and the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, Annandale-On-Hudson, New York. As a turntablist, Rosenfeld has performed and recorded improvised music for almost three decades, including for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. Her recordings are on Room40, Shelter Press, and 901Editions and will soon be accessible on INFO Unltd.
Jessika Kenney is a vocalist, composer, and educator. She currently teaches at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Santa Clarita. She has been involved in both experimental and traditional music scenes, and her core interests lie in the transformative powers of the voice and the experiences of mysticism.
