Starting location: Sandback galleries

This event is part of Community Free Day.
About the Program
Utilizing the work of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and Body-Mind Centering, this movement workshop for adults will encourage participants to investigate the developmental movement patterns of yield, push, reach, and pull. First using our eyes, and then using our bodies, we will interact with Fred Sandback’s sculptures through these techniques. In our hour together we will further investigate our physical relationship with Sandback’s work through play, relationship, physical awareness, and physical memory.
No previous dance experience required, though a willingness to investigate through movement is strongly encouraged.
