DESCRIPTION:William McManus is a Ph.D. candidate\, Department of Art and Ar
 chaeology\, at Princeton. He is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Modern and 
 Contemporary Art at Vassar College. He has published on the paintings and 
 films of Andy Warhol as well as the work of Vito Acconci and Paul C&eacute
 \;zanne.  His dissertation focuses on Warhol&#039\;s work and films during
  the 1960s\, and he&#039\;s currently working on the legacy of Minimalism 
 and the intersection of film\, photography and language in the Sixties and
